The tusks are painted on. He's a cute little elephant but...the tusk are painted on. I would not have purchased it had I known. I'm not going to return it, but buyer be warned. I'm guessing you only get to see the one small picture for a reason.

Had no idea this would be so detailed. Looks exactly like a hand carved wood piece. Gave a a thank you gift and she show cased it in her curio cabinet!

Where there should be ivory, it was painted on. It looks very cheap. I returned it. I wouldn't give such a cheap looking gift to anyone. The description was deceptive.
