I love, love, love the desk. I am only giving it 4 stars because both times I have ordered the desk it arrived damaged. The first time horribly and the second time slightly. It is very heavy and lovely to look at. There are seven drawers and if you have a cordless keyboard the front on the middle drawer drops down for you to use it for that purpose. Otherwise, you can use it as a pencil & pen drawer-- it is burgundy felt lined. There are two file drawers on the bottom of each side and the middle drawers on each side have wooden dividers in them that are adjustable. You can have 4 divided compartments or less or none at all. Then the top two drawers on each side are shallow and burgundy colored felt lined. These are details that I couldn't seem to find elsewhere. It is heavy-- 400 pounds and it comes assembled. I think the packaging might be insufficient for something this large. I'm not sure why mine kept arriving damaged!Another thing is to check who you're buying from and their return policy. I had to pay for return shipping for the damaged item and was not refunded for that. I also paid for shipping to me. Plus, again you need to check that return policy from whoever you're buying from because I was also charged a 15% restocking fee. I'd recommend you check with the Better Business Bureau before buying from a Marketplace Seller. Amazon, apparently does not. Moshya Home Furnishings based in Houston, Texas has 36 unsettled claims there.

This Desk Is Beautiful!!

This desk comes assembled, it DOES weigh 400lbs (500lbs with packaging), and you need to hire someone to get it off the delivery truck (curbside delivery only). This was an easy experience and the desk arrived sooner than estimated. Everyone who sees it admire it and touch it because it is so beautiful. This one is a winner!

We just received this desk (along with the matching shelves), and it is beautiful! It is very heavy and appears to be well-made. The only drawback we have found is the lack of a hole to drop the computer cords through. However, I would still highly recommend this desk.
