storage chest

LOVE this chest. it comes already assembled which is fantastic!!! Two things-- the back is not finished which was fine for us as we put it against a wall but- just a heads up on that. And the drawers are a little 'sticky'- they don't open as easily as if they were on rollers but--- i really love this chest. I bought the night stands to go along with it. The service is good. They sent only one night stand- instead of two. But dealing with their customer service was a breeze and hopefully my second nightstand is on its way. I saw this chest going for twice what i paid for it with this company and i was worried about that....but i had a greta experience with them and i'm very pleased with the product.

This chest is stunningly beautiful. I needed a chest of drawers to match my Ashley Claremont bedroom set. This dresser matches perfectly! The only difference is the color of the handles which can be swapped out pretty easily.The chest of drawers is well built, sturdy, beautiful. If you like cherry finishes you will love this chest of drawers.The delivery was fast and the chest of drawers very well packaged. Took me five minutes of struggling just to get through all the packaging to the chest. Just how it should be. Came without a scratch, dent, or broken piece.Unfortunately the delivery service they used, ABF, is not as great. The guy wouldn't help me bring it up 5 steps. Instead he asked to place it in the garage and I have to take it up a whole flight of stairs now. Terrible delivery company. But the chest is amazing.

Beautiful, but holds less than it looks like

This is a stunning piece of furniture. It is all solid wood construction with a beautiful cherry stain, and it comes completely assembled. If I was buying it just for looks, I would give it five stars. It gets a huge markdown because it just doesn't hold much for the size of the dresser. It stands about five feet tall, but it holds the same amount of clothes as my wife's old particle board dresser held, and that one was at least a foot shorter. I think the capacity is hindered because there is a lot of wasted space on the top fancywork piece, and the whole dresser is not very deep. When I read the dimensions, I expected it to be a lot higher capacity. Don't be fooled by the size. If you look at the picture, you will notice that about a foot of the height is taken up by decorative work at the top and bottom of the unit.So, five stars for looks, three stars for functionality, therefore I give it four stars total.
