You can buy this same sofa at toys r'us for under $35. Usually everything on amazon is cheaper than I can find it anywhere else, but I couldn't believe it was almost $20 more. The only problem with toys r'us is you have to pay $10-15 shipping, but you can pick it up in the store for free. I love amazon, but I would like to see this product at least closer in price range to the competition.

This is my second purchase of this type of couch. We had a Sesame Street couch for a year until the zipper ripped. After owning the Sesame Street couch, I knew what to expect before buying another one so I wasn't very surprised when this one arrived.PROS:1. My son LOVES it and uses it every single day. Sometimes he sleeps in it.2. This couch has bright pictures with James, Percy & Thomas.CONS:VERY HARD TO CLEANIt says on the advertisement that it's easy to clean but that is simply baloney and that's putting it mildly.First, the piece that pulls the zipper is not included so you can't unzip it without putting something in the loop to allow you to pull(I generally put a paper clip through the loop). I initially thought this was a defect, but they are all like this (I checked a bunch of them at Toys R Us).Second, although it isn't too bad taking the cover off of the couch, you may have some difficulty getting it back on. You have to remember how the foam pieces go together and then slipping the fabric back on can be a tight squeeze and may take some effort.Although the con is a very big con, I still have to give this thing 4 stars because my son loves it.Finally, there was one difference between the Sesame Street couch and this one. The Sesame Street couch had a zipped on blanket which acted kind of like a sleeping bag. This couch doesn't have that. It didn't matter much to me since my son doesn't care for that blanket at all. If the sleeping bag is a feature you want, be aware that not all of these couches have it.UPDATE: How 4 stars became 1 starToday, after using a paper clip to pull the zipper (after washing the cover), the zipper piece ripped in two. Guess what? It's plastic! For $40, you would think that the manufacturer would splurge for a metal zipper. I called Amazon and all the rep could say over and over was "I'm sorry" but there was nothing she could do. She could not locate the manufacturer either. It doesn't surprise me that she couldn't find it because this manufacturer would be inundated with returns. I was hoping Amazon would stand behind the products they sell but not on this one. Even though my son loves it, I think this will be the last couch like this that we buy.UPDATE: I was pleasantly surprised to find a brand new couch in the mail. Five stars for Amazon!Additionally, I noticed that there were several new pictures recently added of the couch having a blanket zipped on (like a sleeping bag). The new couch that came in was exactly like the previous one I bought. No sleeping bag. These pictures are either wrong or maybe there are two different models out there. At any rate, based on their quality (or lack thereof) I don't think these couches are worth more than half the price they are being sold for. If you must buy one, handle with extreme care when unzipping and zipping.

We got this fold out kids sofa to go with another older one we already have. The old one is made of different material and is strong. This new one's stitching ripped on the lower inner side of the arm in 2 days. Its cheaply made. I would not recommend buying this product.
