I was able to assemble the desk in less than an hour. The vertical slots, horizontal slots, and pullout drawers provide adequate storage space for important papers, pens, pencils and other utensils. The desk also provides additional surface area for my laptop and a desktop all-in-one printer. This is a well-designed, efficiently sized functional unit if you have limited space, or if you simply don't want a single piece of furniture to overpower a room.

Fits perfectly in our office/bedroom. The monitor does sit up a little higher then we like but we can adjust. The cubby is great for organizing our paperwork.

I needed a desk that guests could use for their laptop or tablets/iPads - to have on a safe surface. Guests tended to put their electronics on my kitchen island and I worried about water from the sink spraying on them and ruining them.This a a perfect answer as it is not large and can be placed near my guest room; the desk proper slides in and protects the device (there is space between the desk and the upper surface to leave one's laptop or tablet on the desk even 'closed up' when not in use).In addition, and very important to know, it was EASY to put together. The instructions were easy to follow although the format was not what most 'furniture' instructions tend to be ... pages and pages! I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily it went together.I love the dark wood and the cubby holes for things like basic stationary supplies, envelopes, etc. The sliding feature of the desk top really is smooth and easy to push in and pull out. It is on wheels.I would recommend this to anyone who wants a desk with such features. You are going to love it!
