8-ounce bottle. We recommend Natchez Solution for antique furniture restoration. We use it at Silk Road Collection as a wood furniture polish and to protect our wooden oriental furniture. It is an all natural, hypoallergenic blend of beeswax, mineral oil and lemon oil. It feeds the wood to restore luster and vitality. We use it on all of our wooden Asian furniture. We highly recommend it.

Several years ago, I bought a bottle of Natchez Solution to care for my furniture. I was looking for a furniture care product that did not contain any petroleum products. Natchez didn't contain any, so I bought a bottle to see how well it did on my furniture. I have a mix of furniture of different woods, different finishes, and different ages, including a very old armoire. Since there aren't any bad chemicals in Natchez, I could apply it with my hands, instead of a cloth, and get a better application. Natchez did a wonderful job, including moisturizing the wood and improving the appearance. I'd never seen a big name product that did as well as this little known name, and without the odor some have. After I used up this first bottle, I couldn't find Natchez in the stores, but I didn't want to use anything else on my furniture. Fortunately, I found Natchez is available through Amazon. I bought four bottles, so I won't be without it. One of the bottles I gave to a friend who said it's the best she has ever used. Sometimes products made by small, niche specialists are extraordinarily good. This is one of them.

I didn't know this was available on Amazon. I bought my first bottle in The Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi, just north of Jackson. When I got home & started using it, I was amazed at how beautiful my wood furniture looked. The cat, not so much. But she shouldn't have been "inspecting" before I was done. On my latest trip to MS, I was in Vicksburg, where the nice lady at the Welcome Center directed me to a hardware store carrying it. I bought 5 bottles - the gift-giving season is approaching. Makes a great "souvenir" gift for the catsitter, too.I'm so happy to know I can get it on Amazon instead of driving from Georgia to Mississippi just to get it.I swear, it's almost a dust repellent. You CAN'T go wrong with this Solution.

I swear if this stuff worked on people like it does on wood the whole botox industry would crash overnight. After the Wall went down, I was able to buy a lot of beautiful German 1860 birch veneer furniture. Because of royal tariff back in those days, imported woods were prohibitively expensive. Anhalt cabinetmakers came up with a vegetable stain called Magdeburg Red that turned the yellow flame birch a beautiful mahogany hue. Now these pieces went through two world wars and the Cold war, you can imagine that takes a toll on a finish. Because of the unknown nature of the stain, I vacillated a long time before trying the Natchez solution. But the mild ingredients convinced me - and wow, what an effect!! The flame, the grain and depth to the wood is fantastic! The surface is glossy, It's just wonderful stuff. I've used it on all sorts of things since, even did a number on Great grandma's silver box, a carved wood panel, and an old scythe we found in the barn. Smear it on generously , wait (the longer the better on banged up stuff) wipe, and polish. Highly, highly recommended!
