good choice for pre-teens and teens

i bought this with the mind set my children have a tendancy to personalize their furniture (stickers, tagging, etc.) I wanted something sturdy for now and when my kids get a little older i will buy them something that is solid wood. Keep in mind this is pressed board. Assembly was extremely easy all you need is a screw driver and hammer. & best yet it comes with a five year warranty from south shore itself if you register your product online. Good buy for the money!

Easy to assemble, easy to break.

This was easy to assemble. I loved the product and the way it went together. I used this together with the bed frame. My only complaint was that a few weeks after we had it together my daughter knocked it over while painting her room. It fell flat on its back with nothing in it. This resulted in a crack in it. I was surprised since it really jsut fell flat and it's not something so big that it was carrying a lot of weight. It simply just tipped over onto its back which was reinforced with the backing. The crack is not huge but I was surprised that pressboard cracked to easily. I've had many other products like this and never had this sort of issue.These items shipped very well and came in perfect condition.

This headboard is short and does not have as much storage as the Sand Castle model. Nice unit but like the larger unit better.
