Product Description
Fashionably functional twin 39-inch mates bed with Pure White finish. The 3 under-bed storage drawers provide plenty of space for clothes, blankets and toys. Flat Fitting satin nickel finish metal handles on bed for added protection. The bed is reversible, so drawers can be put on either side of the bed. Its weight capacity is 250-pound. It fits twin size mattress and box spring is not required. Interior drawer dimensions: 22-1/2-inch wide by 17-1/4-inch front to back. Also available in Chocolate or Pure Black finishes. It is made of recycled CARB compliant particle panels. The glides are made of polymer and include dampers and catches. Complete 2-Adult assembly required. Measures 76-1/4-inch wide by 40-1/4-inch deep by 13-3/4-inch high. It is delivered in one box measuring 86-1/2-inch by 22-inch by 5-1/4-inch and weighs 110-pound.

Good for the most part

This product is sturdy for the most part. It's as sturdy as particle board can be. The do-it-yourself instructions are illustrated, but it would be slightly easier to follow if it illustrated the polished white finish and the bare particle board.There are extra supports to prevent the drawers from buckling if they're overloaded.The parts that hold the frame together were slightly loose. If someone were to pull on the head board of the frame (or the foot board), the bed could easily fall apart. I used wood glue to re-enforce them. I don't think it should be that way, but either way, it was easy enough to fix the problem.Would I recommend this?I'd say no if you want something that's good to go right out of the box.I'd say yes if you're looking to save on the price and you have some wood glue available.

Of course take all reviews with a grain of salt and consider a bad review to sometimes be the result of a lemon. However, this is a case of "you get what you pay for." I've already had to replace one of the boards under the mattress. The assembly was easy...but the material is definitely shoddy so only buy this if you are not going to move it any time soon or only want it use it for a small, lightweight child.

We ordered this bed for my daughter who was tired of her loft bed. It was easy to assemble and works out great in her room. I love the extra storage in the bed too!
