This gorgeous Sebastian Mocha 4-drawer chest features drawers framed with classic moldings for added elegance. Its profiled kick plates and its handles in a brushed antique bronze finish fit superbly with the trendy Mocha finish. The Sebastian collection can be adapted to your child's age and is perfect for younger and older children alike! The interior drawer dimensions are 27-1/4-inch wide by 13-1/2-inch front to back and are equipped with metal slides for smooth gliding. It measures 30-1/2-inch wide by 16-1/4-inch deep by 41-1/2-inch high. It is delivered in a box measuring 42-1/4-inch by 20-3/4-inch by 7-3/4-inch and weighing 92-pound. Made of non-toxic recycled CARB2 compliant laminated particle panels. Complete assembly required by 2 adults. Tools are not included. 5-year limited warranty. Made in Canada.

Decent dresser for the money

Took my husband and I over 2 hours to put together. Of course a 2 1/2 year old was also in our hair the entire time, which is probably why it took so long. Uninterrupted, I'm sure we could have put it together quicker. We had issues with the screws used to put the drawers together - I think they were called Robertson screws? Don't understand why they weren't Phillips screws; that would have made things much easier. Our screwdriver with the Phillips bit didn't work great with the Robertson screws and that was frustrating. The dresser isn't super sturdy and I do worry about it falling on our son; the wall mount probably wouldn't be a bad idea to use. All in all, happy with the product for what we paid. The hardware especially is REALLY nice (and heavy!). We hope this dresser lasts for years to come!

Looks very nice but was definitely a chore to put together

I bought this to match the South Shore nightstand I already had purchased and put together. Let me tell you, this is a TWO person job! I had my Mother come over to help me and we were able to get it all together in about an hour and a half. Which isnt bad considering the thing weighs a ton and has a million peices! It is very nice put together and not too big for a spare room. The only problem I have with it was that you REALLY should use the included bracket to mount this on the wall. It is extremely top heavy and if a child were playing near it or pulling out the top drawers, I do believe it would topple over on top of them. In fact, I believe it could easily fall over onto an adult as well. It looks nice, drawers seem pretty sturdy, but I would definitely attach it to the wall for safety reasons.

This South Shore Sebastian 4 Drawer Chest (Mocha) is a great value at only $178. Obviously this isn't going to be the most durable, high quality product at such a cheap price, but to look at it, you would never know. It is quite obvious when you're opening drawers and assembling it, but who cares if you need to save money? For those of you looking for an attractive, low cost dresser- buy this one!The coloring is very very dark brown. Great color because it doesn't show finger prints or dust. The knobs are expensive looking, and add a little bit extra to the dresser... and the drawers actually slide in/out very easily.The assembling is extremely easy. I'm an average 26 year old and not super handy, but had no trouble putting this together in a little over an hour.Despite this being pressed wood- I love it! Highly suggest to anyone looking for a low cost, attractive dresser!
