Lovely Set

This is a really attractive, easy to assemble, very high quality and affordable coffee/end table set.The color is exactly the way it shown above (there's another pic for the same set here on Amazon that looks like it may have been sweetened a bit to make it appear richer) and the only tool needed to assemble everything is a single Allen wrench, which is provided for you.The only potential downside is the manufacturer's packaging. It's pretty bare minimum, and I'm sure it was some sort of pocket miracle that my set made it to me intactAnyway, snap this set up while it's still in the $200 range.

Firstly, the item arrived damaged (the table top) I contacted the seller so many times to resolve the problem to no avail, finally I had to file claim with the Amazon. Now let's talk about this product: the only part that is made of solid wood is the legs. Just about any other component is made of compressed fiber (paper-like material). This paper-like material can easily be damaged. Once the veneerd-skin is damaged, there is no repairing remedy. In fact that is exactly how the product got damaged during the shipment by something penetrating the cardboard and ripping the easily damgeable skin. If you decided that you still like to purchase this set, it is important to buy it directly from a service orientd reseller, or the Amazon itself. Unfortunately I purchased mine from Home and living.com through the Amazon. I suggest to Amazon to have a section in the reviews of the products, that establishes as from whom this product was purchased from, so the potential buyer can make a more informed decision. If I had to decide to buy this product again, I would not pay anything greater than $100, delivered ($25 per side tables and no more than $50 for the table). One other note: unlike the pictures on the site, the glass is just clear glass and not of an amber color.

We received this set and it was in great shape. It was easy to assemble and it looks for nice. I wish the end tables were a little taller but I am still enjoying the purchase.
