SMOOTH UPGRADE

After using (less expensive)bamboo style shades many years, with their WHITE drawstrings that always show the dirt (in my kitchen,anyway) this shade with its dark brown drawstring is a significant improvement. The light quality is also very different; a darker "tone" when closed, yet more translucent. Am very pleased with it.

We just moved into a beautiful home! The sleek, modern style is a joy. Unfortunately, if you want to live in a room with an entire wall of windows you need something. Blinding sun during the day and oh so close neighbors at night made it necessary to find some kind of window treatment; we wanted something that would shade, but not block our view, would give us privacy, but not isolate us. Oh, and by the way, we couldn’t afford to spend a lot--we just bought a house, remember?Um, well, I love them. Five giant windows, done!They went up in a few minutes. Hint, you need hand strength to install these, get those hooks in good and tight. They look amazing, and the color variations make them look so much more expensive than they actually are.So glad we have them, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
