Nice Storage Console

This is a nice product once put together. Be prepared to spend about 2-3 hours following directions to put this together. When I received the item, I thought the side panels of the console table felt a little thin (like if you punched them hard enough your fist would go through), but once I put it all together, it wasn't a problem and I got over obsessing about that.Be prepared to use countless cam-locks and nuts. The thing takes a load of them. Directions for assembly are perfect. I had no trouble with assembly instructions. I put it together by myself but in some cases you may need help if you don't have a lot of endurance or strength.Once put together it's very sturdy and provides plenty of storage space. I put this in my home office/guest room/den. It holds various items like my DVDs, CDs, Wii games, etc.Narrow lamps sits on top. Not all lamps would fit (lamps with bulky lampshades won't work). I just happen to find one at Hobby Lobby that worked perfectly with my decor and was not too deep.

You will need two adults to assemble this item. Directions for assembly are incorrect in certain parts as identified here: (1) Step 3 must be assembled with the use of books so as to lift lower panel A4 in the air so you can attach the side panels to it. (2) If you assemble the three cabinet doors in Step 6 after you attach the top cover, A1 to the rest of the foyer table, you will not be able to insert the three doors. Before attaching top cover A1, assemble the doors. (3) Beware that the Chinese manufacturer may mislabel hinges B4 and B5, as was the case for me. You will know if they are mislabeled if you cannot shut the doors properly. In that case, unscrew the hinges and switch the ones screwed at the top of the door with the ones screwed at the bottom of the door and vice versa.The foyer table is not wide, the drawers and cabinets cannot hold a letter size paper unless in the case of the cabinet shelves the paper is turned horizontally.
